APPLICATION METHOD
Velvet Elite Wrap 9100 has a low tack pressure activated adhesive that allows the film to be positioned with light finger pressure, and repositioned if it is not in the right place. We strongly recommend to wait 72 hours for the first wash after film application so that the adhesion onto the vehicle is optimal.
|
Surface preparation |
Surface on which the film is applied must be flat, dry, cleaned and free of dust and grease. It is recommended to clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol. |
|
Application Method |
Use a dry application method. Do not use a detergent and water or a commercial application liquid to position film on a vehicle.
|
|
Application temperature |
Ideal Application temperature: between 10° to 25°C. between 50° to 77° F.
Product Deformation Temperature: 60°C / 140°F (airgun). Product Stabilization: above 90°C / 194°F |
|
Temperature range after application |
-20° to 90°C or -4° to 194°F |
|
Graphic Removal |
We strongly recommend that the removal of the film be done by professionals. Film should be heated at temperature between 45° and 60°C (between 110° and 140°F). Use a 45 degrees angle between the base and the film to be removed. |
IMPORTANT: The application of Velvet Elite Wrap 9100 can be applied on all original painted surfaces, nevertheless its utilization on non-original or non-professional repainted or damaged surfaces could present a risk when film is removed for which our company is not liable.

-
U.S desert Southwest exposure: Any outdoor wrap exposed to solar energy more than half of the daylight hours in Arizona, New Mexico, and the desert areas of California, Nevada, Utah, and Texas is subject to reduced warranties.
The product durability estimated in this technical sheet are based on accelerated laboratory experiments for outdoor conditions, vertical position and tempered climate. The product was put to test in severe conditions such as high temperature and U.V light encountered in South European countries, tropical regions, sub-tropical or desert which weathers the product faster than in tempered regions. Polluted regions, high altitudes, as well as expositions to the south also diminish outdoor performance.
CLEANING AND DAILY CARE
Velvet Elite Wrap 9100 is water and regular soap resistant and can be washed in the same conditions as the normal vehicle.
-
We strongly recommend to wait 72 hours for the first wash after film application so that the adhesiveness onto the vehicle is optimal.
-
Just after application of the film, you can give a clean finish look to the velvet texture using a clean microfiber cloth with alcohol.
-
The film was also conceived to resist high pressure car wash at a distance of 60 cm/2 feetfor a normal jet pressure comprise between 100 and 120 bars. Best results are obtained at a wash angle > 45 degrees.
-
In the case of a hand wash with soap with recommend good rinsing so that no soap is left into the film.
